1. The first thing you sell is yourself.
Forget about the product or service. If whoever you are selling to doesn't like you, they are not going to listen to you.
It's all about them. Great salespeople listen to what the clients say and adjust accordingly.
3. Know who to sell to.
A common mistake salespeople make is trying to sell to anyone and everyone.
Make sure whatever you are selling fulfills your potential client's needs.
4. Understand what motivates the other side.
Why should people care about what you're selling?
How is your product or service providing value to them?
5. Keep your pitch simple and under 30 seconds - practice your elevator pitch.
Keep it simple.
REMEMBER!
It doesn't matter if your background is in Marketing, Finance, Technical, or anything else.
If you can't sell yourself, your work, your ambition, your mission your products, your services...
YOU WILL FAIL...
Selling stuff is easy.
All you gotta do is give away stuff that makes people happy and then sell stuff that makes them even happier.
So how would you rate your selling skills?
