With the rise of the internet the standard ‘office job’ is becoming less and less popular.
Over the last couple of decades, people realised that it’s possible to work just 4-8 hours a day from HOME, without the need to spend 2 hours on the road.
It’s possible to build companies where the boss respects its employees and where people work because they like what they are doing and believe in the company's mission.
It’s possible to travel 6-8 times a year without the need to work hard to get just 1 vacation per year.
But the sad reality is that only a small % of jobs allow you to live that life.
I realised that at my very first job when I started working as a barista.
As I was very young I dreamed about building a chain of coffee shops (a.k.a next Starbucks). And was super excited about my barista future.
However, after a year of working as a barista, I realised that I would not build the next Starbucks.
And if I won’t change anything, the only future that awaits me is life from paycheck to paycheck, a boring job where I have to clean toilets, wash plates, and deal with shitty situations daily.
My dreams of a bright future were destroyed…
And at that hard time for me I randomly found a guy on YouTube who was working REMOTELY as a Frontend Developer, making $10k/month and travelling around the world.
I WAS SHOCKED, that’s the exact life that I dreamt about.
So I decided to give it a shot and to try to learn Frontend Development.
I worked super hard every single day to teach myself how to code...
And now, just 4 years later I'm a Senior Fullstack Developer who has his own startup.
That was a crazy journey, and I'm super thankful to my past self that I invested time, energy and money into coding, and now thanks to coding I can live the life I always dreamt about.
And I don't plan to stop there.
Over the next decade, my goal is to keep growing my career, build successful startups, and invest in real estate around the world.
The CORE THING that will help me achieve those goals is CODING.
I'll use coding to grow my career, I'll use coding to build my business, and I'll use coding to make money that I'll be able to invest.
That's why I strongly believe that coding is one of the best skills of this century that opens an insane amount of opportunities.
And that's why I primarily focusing right now on helping others to learn how to code, as I see how this skill helps people to change their lives.
But learning how to code isn't an easy task.
I know it based on my own experience.
I made plenty of mistakes along the way.
